A rhythm forms a melody within me

picks up a beat

then dies out.

It comes again

sweeter, stronger, more rhythmic

I hum back to it

memorise it

and sing it t myself

It's the music of my soul.

On Hope

You are a part of me

and I'm a part of you

Our souls are one

and our hearts too

Soon we shall be together

There's no need to feel blue

Life shall bloom again

Our joys many and worries few

So I lift up my hands in prayer
