Eat My Heart!

Yeah, precisely that.
And tell me how it tastes!

Yesterday I tried making Cheese Balls.... they tasted fine but I guess I'll have to be more careful with the dough next time..

Anddd... soon its going to be 3 months since my sister's wedding and they only big difference I've felt is that we don't go shopping so frequently now. And of course there is absolutely no one to bother me all day. No one to get in my way and no one to give unwanted opinions! Hah, yes!

Oooh and I'm totally swept away by these!

P.S. Also I changed the template for Summer. Feedback please! ;)

Recipe to reduce boredom

I was hell bored so I made this;
Vanilla custard and banana jelly with cream on top. =D

And then Mum made saag (spinach) which I don't eat, so I fixed myself this;
My own version of an Italian omelette and orange juice to wash it down with. =P

Last week I made chane ki daal (grams) which wasn't too bad for a first try. =]
At least Mum said it was tasty even though she spiced it up before serving. 8)

Day 06 — Your Favorite Restaurant

It is certainly hard to name a single dine-out place, anyhow I would name Shezan Regale thats in H-block, Defence. Both dinner and a la carte are available there. Its a great place with good food.

Childhood Never Leaves You

I had a first time experience of making a paratha today. I was on my own and that was actually good!
So I rolled a portion of dough on the flour board and it took up a strange shape, not a circle, not a square but like an irregular blotch of ink. While working with the rolling pin I could not help but reminisce about my childhood when my elder sister and I used to make bread with play dough in a kitchen set up with toy utensils in front of the mirror on the dresser.
It was the time when food was almost any colour and plasticy in texture, could be served cold ans stored for months. Good were those innocent days!
